L is for Lillia: Christmas!

What a crazy couple weeks! Christmas this year was amazing and filled with fun family times. Aunt Mimi and Uncle Stephen hosted Christmas Day at their new house this year for our Feekin Family Christmas celebration. We had tons of food, gifts, and a very happy baby with all the attention she was getting!

We started off the weekend with a trip to the Austin Trail of Lights which is a long lived tradition which has finally come back after a two year hiatus due to low sponsorship (silly economy). Well, it was a little underwhelming because the crowds were INSANE and you couldn't even move to see the lights. Lia loved it all the same and was "ooohing" and "ahhhing" the whole time.

Christmas morning was fun for all and Lillia really got the hang of opening gifts. She traveled from lap to lap opening presents, until she was so tired she was about to fall asleep mid-gift.

Lia was not too excited about this, but I thought it was hilarious.

On the 26th, we took off late (Lia's bed time is the only way to travel!) to head to Dallas. We had a fabulous time sharing Christmas round two with the Gates side of the family and enjoyed a relaxed, extended visit. Especially were happy to see Uncle Ty and Auntie who were in town from Italy. Lia again relished the attention and was in a great mood all week.
