8 months already?

Lillia is 8 months old today!  Can you believe it?  I sure can't...

I love this picture because it seems to show just how big she is getting, but also how much life she has within that tiny little body!  She is turning in to quite the thrill seeker and I'm beginning to worry about future interest in bungee jumping, skydiving, and other things that scare the crap out of parents...  Lia honestly shows little fear when trying something new and even if she falls, she wants to get right back in there and do it again.  Pretty determined (subborn?) little one if you ask me...  :)

Here are some more fun facts about eight month old Lia:

• Her hair is getting longer!  Now it is an overall fuzz and some random longer pieces on top of her head - so funny
• Started imitating sounds - mimicked Todd buzzing his lips for a long time the other day
• Cruising on furniture - still gets her feet jumbled up occasionally, but seems to be doing pretty well
• Expressing herself in terms of likes, dislikes, wants, and needs more regularly.  She will fuss if she is put down or if a toy is taken away.  The funniest thing is when she busts out crying really hard when we put her down to do something - like she is offended or has hurt feelings or something.  
• Does very well in large groups of people and seems energized by being in the spotlight - we could have a future actress on our hands! 
• Holding objects in one hand while crawling and recently put a toy in her mouth to crawl faster with both hands - hilarious
• Loves being chased around the coffee table or to have someone following her when crawling - biggest giggles ever  
• Loves her stuffed animals - will lean down to kiss/eat their noses
• Started babbling "dada" the other day
• Seems very confused when her hands are sticky or messy and will stare at them while closing and opening a fist - I'm sure it feels different than usual!
