This past weekend we packed up and headed 45 minutes south to New Braunfels for the Richards Reunion. We were very lucky this event was being held close to home this year and certainly did make travel and everything much easier. The reunion joins Todd's grandmother's family (Grandma Cole and her siblings) and all of their descendants together every 3 years or so. It is amazing to see a reunion with such a large scope since I'm used to reunions with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc - not a reunion with people you know are probably related to you but can't really figure out the pattern - second cousin twice removed..??? who knows! haha. Lia was a complete show off and was the belle of the ball. She seemed to thrive on the attention from others and passed out smiles and laughs to many lucky people. There were some other young children there who enjoyed playing with Lia and she was completely enamored with them as well.
Unfortunately, we didn't get many pictures from the weekend... we toted the camera around with us everywhere, but didn't actually use it... whoops. There was a photographer there who took formal family pictures that I downloaded and then some completely random (mostly cell phone) pics. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteGreat memories, happy times... Lia had everyone wrapped around her little finger and Great Grandma was happiest of all, I think.
